It’s crunch time, the final push: 6 movies in 2 days, a concert to sing at, and then collapse.
So four movies on Saturday, and these reviews will be briefer than ever.
Free Men, is an excellent French film about Muslims in occupied France who hid Jews and aided the resistance. See it if you can.
Hard Core Logo II, by Bruce MacDonald, is boring, self-indulgent and pointless. I slept, and this time it was a critique of the film.
Comic-Con, a new documentary by Morgan Spurlock, is excellent. Engaging, interesting, and entertaining. And for once, Spurlock does not appear in the film at all. It’s all about the Con.
The Deep Blue Sea, was disappointing. Overwrought, the characters seemed to be having the same conversations over and over, and everything from the music to Rachel Weisz’s voice was SO VERY DRAMATIC!!!
